Officers Ponch and Baker

Every person no matter how old or young you are has a hero. Even when you were a kid you have wanted be like someone that affected your life. Some kids wanted to be firefighters, some wanted to be Batman, some even wanted to be like their parents (oh how they would regret that when they were older). But me, I always wanted to be like Ponch.

A lot of people pick super heroes to be their heroes because they have super powers. I don't think a hero has to has any super powers but he does have to have the ability to act in hard circumstances. I don't think he has to always save the day but be able to help you out. I also think he has to have a beautiful smile like Ponch.

I know you are thinking right now, "So how in the Sam Hell did Officer Ponch ever help you out?" Well that is an easy question and I'll answer it. When I was a wee lad in elementary school, instead of watching Saturday morning cartoons I watched reruns of CHiPS. It taught me life lessons that I would never forget. Like how to handle a car thief.

Watching Officer Baker and Ponch bust up crimes and stop car thieves made me realize, I can be anything I want to be. I can do what no man has ever done. Ponch made me realize I am not just some chump who is gonna only have hard times, but a man on a mission. Because of Ponch I am going to college and am going to make something out of myself.

Did you also know that CHiPS also had six seasons which were all successful? How can one handsome comedy sidekick do this much for the world?
