My hero is my dad. Why? Because he’s proved himself to be the best dad he can be over and over again. We’ve all been through a lot, but no matter how hard things got he never gave up. He always tried everything he could to get through the hard times.

He always thought about his kids first, always made sure we had what we needed first before he thought about himself. He always worked his hardest to make sure of all of that. To me he showed that no matter what happens or what problems we go through, nothing is too hard for us or me to be able to not get through.

Even time after time again, when things looked like they were working out but started to just get harder and harder, or when it seemed like things were just getting worse, even though there were times where he wanted to give up hope, he always found a way to work things out. My dad is my hero, because he just shows his unconditional love towards us. He’s the father he was meant and is still being to me, and also to my sister and brother. He’s just awesome and I wouldn’t trade him for any other father!
