My hero is not a mere actor, nor my wonderful parents. He is a person who helps others with their dreams by meeting them in person. He is the amazing Rob Dyrdek. Born in Kettering, Ohio in 1974 he is now 35. He became a pro skateboarder at the age of 16. In his T.V. shows, The Fantasy Factory and Rob and Big, he teaches people to follow their dreams and to try their hardest no matter how important. He now skates and has his shows. He is inspiring, achieving and courageous. These are the qualities that a hero should have.

Rob is an inspiring man to all ages. He helps influence anybody he meets. He has followed his dreams and helps others follow theirs. One example is when this kid kept sending in clips of him dancing. So Rob invited him to the Fantasy Factory, and they made a music video with a professional actor/dancer. That is why I think he is an inspiring man.

I also think he is an achieving guy, who accomplishes stuff just for fun. He has set or broken 21 world records, just because he can. He also achieved pro status as a skater. He helps others achieve their dreams, by talking to them or even inviting them to the factory. He can and does help others achieve goals.

Lastly, I think he is courageous because he does many things average people won't. For an example, he got this bike from a guy and right away he says he wants to try to back flip it into his foam pit. So he makes a bet with his cousin Drama, "Whoever can get a back flip first gets to shoot the loser with the tennis ball gun 5 times." So Drama won and he held to his deal. He shows people that some things, sometimes even dumb things, are worth getting hurt for.

So, that is why Rob Dyrdek is my hero. He is mentally and physically strong. He helps others a lot. He is also very funny and I like to skate so I like that quality about him. Finally he is very supportive of his friends, family and even strangers. He has helped many people throughout his life
