Rob Dyrdek is a pro skateboarder. He built a thing called the fantasy factory and it is a place for him to hang out and skate. At the same time it is a place of business. He was born in a small town called Kettering, Ohio. He discovered skateboarding at the age of 12. He competed in local skate competitions. He went pro at 16. Then he left home to go to California. There he filmed the first DC shoe commercial. Then he hired a body guard named Christopher " Big Black" Boyken.

He is saving the sport of skateboarding. He is creating safe spot skate spots where it is as close to skating on a street without being in danger of the cops. He created the Skate Plaza in Kettering, Ohio, near the house he grew up in. At the opening of his first safe spot skate spot the governor of Hollywood came and gave a speech. Then Rob and the governor rode in on the world's biggest skateboard.

He is a caring living being because he takes care of 2 dogs and a mini horse. He also makes people's dreams come true. For example, there was a guy named Cole who sent him videos of him dancing every week for two years. Then Rob called him up and had him come down to the Fantasy Factory to shoot a dance video.

Rob started the Wild Grinders and he sells them at Wal-Mart. The opening event was so big that they ran out of the toys and Rob had to start signing things like toilet seats. He created a new character when he got attacked by a shark. 711 liked the wild grinders so much that they let Rob design the 711 to have the Wild Grinders all over it. Then they opened a skate park across the street that, from an aerial view, says WILD.

Rob has had many guests at the Fantasy Factory like John Mayer, Ochocinco, and Ken Block. When John Mayer was there they wrote a song for Rob's mom. When Ocho Cinco was there he brought a trebuchet and they launched Lady Drama the Test Dummy. When Ken Block was there they filmed Gymkhana 2.1 which involved Ken Block in his rally car and Rob in his go-kart drifting around Tina the Test Dummy. Rob is our hero because he is kind, caring, and he is trying to save the sport of skateboarding.
