Royce Gracie was born in 1966 on December twelfth in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is now thirty-nine years old and he is one out of nine children, seven whom are boys. Royce Gracie is famous for his jiu jitsu which he has mastered. The UFC was very important because it was the first one ever and you get a lot of money. Royce Gracie is brave and strong. That’s what makes him a good fighter.

Royce Gracie has proven he is brave countless times. For example, Royce Gracie dares to fight anyone no matter how heavy. He has even been brave enough to a fight a champion four hundred and eighty six pound sumo wrestler when Royce Gracie is only one hundred and seventy pounds. Royce Gracie has also been brave enough to teach CIA agents, FBI, DEA, secret service, army rangers and many other people too.

Royce Gracie is strong because he fights in UFC and in UFC people out weight Royce Gracie by one or two hundred pounds. But Royce Gracie always wins with an arm bar, a choke, or even a shoulder lock. Royce Gracie has taught the famous Chuck Norris, Ed O’Neal, Guy Ritchie and Nicholas Cage.

Royce Gracie is feared by people because he has a record of thirteen wins, two losses and two draws. He is also feared because of his father Helio Gracie. Helio Gracie has never in his lifetime lost a fight. That’s what makes him a good fighter.

Royce Gracie has been my hero because he showed me to be brave and strong by training really hard. Royce Gracie is my hero because he teaches Brazilian jiu jitsu and that’s what I learn. I am going to be just like him and never quit in my fighting classes until I am a black belt and as good as Royce Gracie. He also has taught me to never give up no matter how bad conditions look. I will look up to Royce Gracie as my hero forever.
