Ray Orozco

Ray's shoe.

My hero is Ray Orozco for many reasons. He is a friend of mine and I know him because we are both skaters.

One reason he is my hero is because he showed me how to skate and he inspires me on my tricks. Another reason he’s my hero is because I skate with him everywhere he goes. He likes to ollie and kick flip off of stairs. He inspires me to skate. When we skate he likes to go far. I can barely keep up with him.

I like skating with him because he does crazy moves like trade flips, nollie frontsides, 5-0 to fakie, kick flip, heel flip, 50-50, varial flip, nollie flip, kick flip off a loading dock, board slide, ollie over stuff, pressure flip, krooked grind, nose stall, nollie hard flip, big spin, ollie over me, kick flip over me, and many more tricks.

When I don’t do my tricks right, he shows me how to do them. Also, when I fall and don’t want to get up he tells me “if you don’t get up you’re never going to learn." When we skate, we skate to far places.

Ray is a hero for other reasons too. Not only is he a good skater, he is patient when he teaches. He enjoys teaching others and he is kind to his skaters.
