Reggie White was born in December 19,1961 in Chattanooga,Tennessee. Reggie died in December 26, 2004 at age 43 and is remembered as a great football player. Also in Tennessee, White played college football where he set records from 1980 to 1983. He still holds some of the records he made.
Reggie White is my hero because he was a 13-time Pro Bowler. In 2006 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He is also my hero because he liked wrestling and I do too. Also, Reggie White had 198 sacks in his career. That's something others haven't accomplished.
The teams Reggie White played for were good because of his defense. Today, the Eagles from Philadelphia need a player like Reggie to be on their on their team so they can win. And the Packers coach was happy to have him on his team because he was the best player they had in years.
Reggie White is also my hero because he broke many records in sacks one season. After playing for the Eagles for 8 seasons Reggie started playing for the Packers and was payed $17 million dollars for a four year contract.
To conclude, Reggie White retired as the NFL's all-time sack leader. Also, he was voted onto the first-team All-Pro 10 times in his 15 years. Reggie White died because he suffered from sleep apnea which can make you stop breathing when you are sleeping.
