Ross Rebagliati

Ross Rebagliati By:Kyle Ross Rebagliati, (born July 14,1971), in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional snowboarder. Ross went pro in 1991. He was the first person ever to win an Olympic gold medal in this sport at the 1998 winter Olympics. After he won the gold medal, he was found to have the active ingredient in marijuana in his system, and he was automatically disqualified (lost gold medal). This decision was eventually overturned and he was given back the medal. My hero, Ross Rebagliati lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was born in 1971 and he is still alive. He is my hero because he inspired me to snowboard. The hero I would like to be is a snowboard hero. Thanks for inspiring me to snowboard. Ross Rebagilati made a difference in my life!
