This is a story about Dwayne Douglas Johnson who everyone knows as THE ROCK. He first started out playing high school football. He earnd a five year scholarship.

He was born in Hayward, California on May 2nd 1972. His parents are Rocky Johnson and Ata Johnson. The grandson of professional wrestler Peter "High Chief" Fanene Maivia. In 1995, Dwayne suffered a back injury which cost him a place in the NFL. He then signed a 3 year deal with the Canadian League but left after a year to pursue a career in wrestling.

He made his wrestling debut in the USWA under the name Flex Kavanagh where he won the tag team championship with Brett Sawyer. Dwayne joined the WWE and became Rocky Maivia where he joined a group known as "The Nation of Domination" and turned heel in 1996. When he became the leader of the nation he took the name "The Rock".

He later took the roll of the Scorpion King in the movies The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King. At the age of 24 he became the youngest WWE champion on record. He Married Dany Johnson the day after his 25th birthday after years of dating her. He met her parents shortly before the wedding.

He brought to the world a grand slam of wrestling moves. His most famous saying is "Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?" His trademark face is a scowl and a raised eyebrow. He quit wrestling and started acting. He has a new movie coming out. It is called The Game Plan.
