My hero is Ronaldinho; a good soccer player. Today he plays with the Barcelona football club. He was born in Porto Allegre; Brazil in 1980. His real name is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira. At 12 when he participated in his first team, he was known as the “Gremio of Porto Alegre.” After making a name for himself, three teams wanted him. One was Real Madrid football Club; the others were Manchester United Football Club and Barcelona Football Club. Real Madrid left him in the French leagues but Ronaldihno didn’t want that. Manchester had a problem with his president so they didn’t sign him either.

Ronaldihno is my hero because I like how he plays. I think that what he does with his feet is magic, dribbling around the other team's players until he goes in to score. His technique is really amazing. Ronaldihno learned this at a young age and it's amazing how he learned all these tricks and moves. I think it must have taken a lot of work to get to where he is. Today he is a good player on a good team. I choose this hero not only for his football skills, I choose him because he's a good person. This Christmas he gave his t-shirt to an old person. I thought it was really generous.

I consider him a hero because he does campaigns to give food to poor people. He is down-to-eartj with people, he is a unique person, he is an original. I consider him a hero not only for his playing but for who he is.
