I believe a person who stands up for what's right, that helps other people and doesn't give up is a hero. I chose Samuel Adams as my hero because he fought for freedom from Britain. He helped form our nation. He helped our nation be a free country.

The hero I picked was Samuel Adams. He was born on September 27 1722. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Samuel Adams had a father named Samuel Adams Sr. His mother's name was Elizabeth Checkley until she died on July 25, 1757. Then Samuel Adam's father got married again to Elizabeth Wells in 1764. He had 12 siblings in the family. Samuel Adams planned the Boston Tea Party in Boston Massachusetts to protest unfair taxes from England in 1773. An accomplishment outside of the war is that Samuel Adams was the legislature of Massachusetts in 1765 until 1774. He did this to govern Massachusetts.
