When people talk about their heroes, I don't really know who my hero is. I choose to write about Sandra Bullock. The reason why I picked her was because she is a wonderful actress and stands up for herself which many girls have trouble doing.

Sandra's full name is Sandra Annette Bullock. She was born on July 26, 1964 in Virginia, USA. Sandra's parents were an opera singer and a vocal teacher. She spent most of her childhood growing up on the road with her parents and her younger sister. Her and her family moved back to Washington way when Sandra was a teenager. Along the way, Sandra performed child chores or wherever her mother would be. In 1993, the singing came in handy for the role as an aspiring country singer in the movie "The thing called love".

After returning to a place near her hometown, she later went to East Carolina University in North Carolina where she studied acting. After University Sandra moved to New York to take a shot at the acting business.

Sandra Bullock has starred in many popular movies including ; Practical Magic, co-starring with Nicole Kidman, in 1998 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120791/). While you were sleeping, in 1995, co-starring with Bill Pullman. "Speed" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111257/) is a very popular movie that Sandra starred in. The movie was released in 1994. Sandra was ranked #58 on the top 100 movie stars of all time in 1997.

Sandra Bullock is a hero to me because she stands up for herself and tries to not let people put her down. In June of 2010 she got divorced from her husband Jesse James. They were married for five years and then Jesse started seeing other women behind Sandra's back. Reports say that he was with Kat Von D the tattoo artist. After Sandra filed for divorce from Jesse James, Sandra adopted a child. To me Sandra is a hero because she doesn't let people get in the way of her dreams. And she doesn't let people walk all over her. She adopted a child so now that child is going to end up living a great life because of Sandra Bullock. Keep living your dreams just like Sandra and one day you may be glad you did.
