Sue Cooney is a spiritual and generous woman. Sue is a mother of two grown daughters, which she raised alone. She is also a survivor of lung cancer. She is a huge animal lover who has two dogs.

Sue Cooney is generous. She took care of her mother while her mother was battling cancer. Sadly, her mother passed away due to her illness. Susan opened her house to her daughter and her daughter’s family so they can have a place to live. She will call you when you are sick. She gives you great presents on your birthday and she is fun to be around.

She is very spiritual and believes in the power of prayer. That is how she and I believe she overcame lung cancer. Lung cancer is the deadliest type of cancer for both men and women. She goes to church every Sunday. She is not afraid to share her feelings about God or stand up for her faith.

Sue is more than just spiritual and generous; she is sensitive, strong, and funny. She is sensitive because she feels with all her heart. Susan is strong because she is not afraid of life’s difficulties. She is funny because her hair grew back white, so we call her Paula Dean the cook. She laughs and disagrees then starts talking with a Southern accent. Sue is the best…she is my aunt, friend, and hero.
