Sophie's first accident was in 2003 when a car crashed into the Fairlight Preschool. She was stuck under the car and got third degree burns over 85% of her skin. Then in 2006 Sophie's wheelchair got hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing throwing her 18 meters. She has gone through a lot of struggles like losing her ear and her feet.

Today, Sophie is a role model and an inspiration to her friends. Sophie is very tough and looks forward to the future and her dream of one day becoming a fashion designer.
