My friend Malia introduced me to Stephanie’s first book Twilight. I fell in love with her writing. She has a very descriptive type of writing and I really admire it. I read the whole series and I was wanting more and more. Then Stephenie came out with The Host. Malia had invited me to go get our books signed by Stephenie. And when I finally met her I found out what a nice person she really is. In her career you can create places and people that would never actually be. You could create things that have been never ever thought of before.

Stephenie is a fantasy/ science fiction writer. She went to Brigham Young University from a scholarship that she got. She won the National Merit Scholarship. I am not quite sure of her income but I can only imagine how much it is, because she is so popular. Considering that her first book Twilight is becoming a movie.

Traits that would apply to this job would probably be to have a strong imagination, creative, having great punctuation, and most likely getting good grades in English class. Imagination because when you have a good imagination you can think of things in a different way than other people might. Being creative because when you can think of different designs in your mind imagine how elaborate it would be on paper. Stephenie went to horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stephenie won a National Merit Scholarship to BYU.

“I majored in English, but concentrated on literature rather than creative writing, mostly because I didn't consider reading books as work (as long as I was going to be doing something anyway, I might as well get course credit for it, right?). Stephenie sort of puts a book out there that you wouldn’t expect. Her writing sort of speaks to people and it encourages others to be like that. She hasn’t done anything drastic but her books pop out of a library like a neon shirt in a group of emo kids. She has created an epidemic that has swept across the nation. Most teenage girls have read it and it is soon to rub off on the boys!!!

In high school I will try to achieve to get good grades in English and writing. If in high school I achieve that goal, in college I will major in writing and have minors in literature and English. In my future life I intend to write books about my dreams and stories I have come up with. I have written a short story before but I don’t think I could continue it because I wrote it like 5 years ago. In school I think that my English and Writing Skills would be most important for this particular job. We will just have to find out when I get older if I succeed.
