Stephenie M. Meyer

My hero is Stephenie Meyer. Stephenie is the author of my favorite book and series: The Twilight series. I chose her as my hero for many reasons. She has taken the time to write five books, with over 300 pages each, for other people’s entertainment.

She is my hero because she inspires me to read more. Before I read her books I didn’t read at all. Now I read for pleasure. Stephenie has caught not only my interest but the interest of the producers of a major motion picture company.

Now two of the four books in the series are a movie. (Twilight and New Moon). My favorite of the books is Breaking Dawn (which is not a movie yet), the last the four books. Stephenie has also written another book not in the Twilight series. It’s called The Host. I haven’t read it yet. When I started reading Twilight, I didn’t read at a very advanced level, now I read at an above eighth grade level.

The reason I started reading Twilight was because it was based on one of Stephenie’s dreams. The rest of the series is just adding on to that.

Stephenie, in my opinion, is a pretty cool lady. She wrote one popular series and now she is totally famous. She is my hero because (like I said earlier) she caught my interest and made me enjoy reading.
