Stephenie Meyer is an inspiration to many people. She is an author for young adults but she doesn't write her books for specific age groups. Stephenie Meyer is an inspiration because she loves to write and many people love to read her books. She is an amazing author. Her books inspire me to write books. That is why Stephenie Meyer is a hero.

Stephenie Meyer's childhood and family is very interesting. Her parents' names are Candy and Stephen Morgan. Stephenie was born on December 24, 1973 on Christmas Eve. Stephenie's parents decided to name the baby after her father, Stephen, but just adding an "ie" to the end of her name. Stephenie had an older sister Emily. Before long, Stephenie's younger sister Heidi was born. Also Stephenie and her husband Pancho had kids named Gabe, Seth, and Eli. She has inspired me to read books because when Stephenie was a kid she loved to read and her father read to her all the time. Sometimes when Stephenie wanted to know what was going to happen in the book that her father was reading to her, she would find where he was hiding the book and she read the rest of the story. That is what happened in Stephenie Meyer's childhood and family life.

Stephenie Meyer wrote a lot of interesting books. Some books that she wrote are the Twilight saga which is Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Also another book that Stephenie Meyer wrote is a fiction novel for adults named The Host. Those are Stephenie's interesting books.

Stephenie Meyer did many things for the community. She did book signing at book stores like Borders and Barnes and Nobles. Also, Stephenie attended fan club meetings to see what others thought of her books Twilight and The Host. That is what Stephenie did for the community.

Stephenie had very little challenges. Her challenges were trying to get her Twilight book published. Different types of publishers rejected Stephenie 14 times. After the 14 times, finally Stephenie's book got published and became a number one best seller. Also, another challenge is she needed to take care of her family and write the rest of a series of her book Twilight at the same time which to me is a big obstacle. That's some of Stephenie's tough challenges.

Some of Stephenie Meyer's awards are some of her books got in No. 1 position in New York Times Best Sellers. Meyer's first book Twilight got in No. 1 position. New Moon (2006) got in No. 2 position. Also Eclipse (2007) got in No. 4 position. Stephenie's adult novel The Host got in No. 15. Those are Stephenie Meyer's awards.

There are many qualities that have helped Stephenie Meyer become successful. First one of, Stephenie is determined. Stephenie is determined to write books. Also, Stephenie Meyer is determined to get her books published. Another example why Stephenie is determined is to try to get awards for her books Twilight and The Host. Second, Stephenie is caring. Stephenie Meyer cares and takes care of her family and friends when they are sick or need her. Also Stephenie cares about her fans and what they or others think of her books Twilight and The Host. The last quality that helps Stephenie Meyer be successful is courage. Stephenie Meyer has courage when she gets a letter and sees it is from the publishing company she has the courage to open that letter even if that letter is a rejection letter. Those are all of Stephenie Meyer's qualities.

There are many important lessons myself might learn from the way that Stephenie Meyer lived. First, you should always try to keep up your grades because Stephenie's parents would get mad if she did not get good grades. Also you should read a lot of books because Stephenie Meyer read a lot of books when she was a kid and when she grew up she became an amazing author. Another important lesson I might learn from Stephenie is that you should try to keep your friends close because Stephenie once got in a fight with her friend and lost her best friend. Those are a few important lessons that I myself might learn from Stephenie Meyer.

"When I was younger I wanted to be just like Jo March [of little women] and have [all] boys and when I was older I wanted to have all girls. . . I got my first wish." –Meyer had said during a 2007 interview. I thought that this quote was very interesting because Stephenie says she wants to be like Jo March of Little Women. She wants to be like characters from books which I think are very neat. Also Stephenie did get her first wish because she did have all boys Gabe, Seth, and Eli. This is why the author Stephenie Meyer is my inspiration.
