My hero is Sadako Sasaki. At the time of the explosion of the Hiroshima bomb, Sasaki was at her home about one mile from ground zero. She got an atom bomb disease from the bomb attack. She was 2 years old at the time. Sadako Sasaki was a popular girl for what she did. She had a different language.

The disease that the bomb gave her killed her at age 12. When Sadako Sasaki got the disease the ems called the Red Cross who helped her and tried to make her live but they got to the point they knew that she was almost not going to make it. She wanted people to understand that she was a peace keeper and that she was a hero.

She is a peacekeeper. She is a hero because she made a lot of things like a paper cranes. She lived in Japan when the bomb dropped August 6, 1945. She lived in Japan in a city. Her mom and dad were very very sad of her passing away. She built over 1,000 paper cranes.
