Serj Adam Tankian is a Lebanese-born Armenian-American singer, songwriter, poet, activist and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the lead vocalist, keyboardist and sometimes rhythm guitarist of the Grammy Award-winning rock band System of a Down. He is at place 26 of the greatest heavy metal vocalists of all time by Hit Parade magazine.
Serj was born on August 21, 1967 in Beirut, Lebanon.
