A hero is not the person who has super powers, is the person that make good things for others without receiving anything in exchange. I will write about my hero. His name is Steve Vai, he is an American instrumental rock guitarist, song writer, producer and actor. The guitarist began his solo career starting in 1984 and has released 13 solo albums as of 2008.

In 1974, Steve took lessons form guitarist Joe Satriani, and played and played in numerous local bands such as a band names "The Steve Vais". He has acknowledged the influence of many guitarists like Jeff Beck. Then attended the Berklee College of Music.

In 2004, a number of his compositions and orchestral arrangement including some previously recorded pieces, were performed in The Netherlands by the Metropole Orchestra concert series entitled The Aching Hunger. Steve Vai's latest album, Sound Theories, was released in 2007.

Steve Vai is my hero because he worked hard to be one of the famous guitarists in the world. He also acted in the movie Cross Roads and that implies a lot of work and hard concentration to become what he is, so Steve Vai is my HERO.
