Stevie Wonder was born blind, but later in his early life, learned to work around his challenges. Stevie had a huge disadvantage to those competitors in the music industry, but still, due to his resiliency, made to be one of the greatest at the youngest age. Stevie had many reasons to never look back on his childhood; he just kept his headstrong and kept moving towards his goals. Stevie was a hopeful kind of guy, but in this case he knew the only cure to this was to work around it and continues to pursue in his dreams for music. Stevie did not want this obstacle to affect him for the rest of his life. Stevie believed it happened for a reason and he was going to prove that through his resilient acts. According to the "Stevie Wonder Contemporary Biography", Stevie Wonder himself believes that God challenged him for a reason. But instead of mourning in doubt, Stevie kept a positive outlook and turned his not so great situation, into 25 Grammy awards and many number one hits. Everyone is faced with certain challenges in life; it's just a matter of how well one accepts theirs. The resiliency that Stevie Wonder possesses is what has brought him to overcome his challenges and to his successful achievements.
