Steve Jobs

           Steve Jobs was one of the most inspiring people in the whole world when he invented Apple Computer Corporation. Jobs' famous creations were the Mac, iBook, iPod, iPhone, and much more. Steve Jobs dropped out of college within the semester to follow his dreams in the technology field. Within a few days of quitting college he joined a club called the Homebrew Computer Club, where he met a friend by the name of Steve Wozniak. Jobs and Wozniak joined forces and opened a small computer company called Apple. Steven Paul Jobs was a brilliant man.  Jobs and one of his close friend Steve Wozniak changed the world's technology when they created Apple Computer Corporation.

          Jobs was a very intelligent man, he invented new technologies that could change the world. Jobs gave up college for his dream. "In 1975 Jobs began associating with a group of computer aficionados known as the Homebrew Computer Club. There he met a technical whiz named Steve Wozniak." Jobs and his close friend Steve Wozniak wanted to open a small computer company. Jobs and Wozniak gave up college for their dream. Jobs teamed up with Wozniak to make this dream come true." Jobs and Wozniak teamed up and formed Apple Computer Corporation in 1976." Apple Computer Corporation was formed in 1976. Jobs and Wozniak started off making their computers. Jobs was a very intelligent man because he gave up college to follow his one dream.

           "By 1997 lighting struck Jobs a third time. Jobs and Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, announced that their companies were joining forces. Microsoft would invest $150 million for a nonvoting minority stake in Apple and the two companies would cooperate in several marketing and technology fronts. This alliance made Microsoft and Apple the two largest players in the computer industry." Steve Jobs and Bill Gates partnered in 1997 to put Microsoft World and Apple together. Jobs and Gates made $150 million once they joined forces. By joining forces Steve Jobs and Bill Gates made even more from their products. "Jobs presented Apple's iBook, another entry into the portable computer market, at the Mac World Convention in July 1999. The iBook was a clam-shaped laptop that was available in bright colors and included Apple's AirPort technology." Jobs presented the Apple iBook on July 1999. The Apple iBook was one of the biggest products Apple ever made. The Apple iBook was a huge success and it opened the door for more success for Apple.

           "AirPort is a computer version of the cordless phone that allows the user to surf the web wirelessly. On July 24, 2000, Jobs presented the Power Mac G4 Cube." AirPort let computer users use the internet for free, if you had a Mac. Jobs presented a new computer called the Power Mac G4 Cube. The Power Mac G4 Cube was the first computer to have special features. "Following his success with the stand-alone version of the iBook, the iMac, G3 and G4 Power Macs, which addressed the needs of the publishing and multimedia markets long dominated by the Macintosh." Within a few years Jobs had even more success creating the iMac and the iPod. The iPod was a portable digital music player, which changed the way people listened to music in their daily life. With all of the new technology that Jobs had developed, it led him to more success.

         When Jobs and Wozniak combined brains they changed the world's technology in a very special and creative way. With Steve Jobs technology we could make everything possible, as it opened doors to even more advanced technology. Steve Jobs inspires me and others, by making a technology so special, and important in our daily life. Apple has changed the way people use and think of technology. Without Steve Jobs technology today wouldn't be as great and important in our lives.
