Who is a hero?
• Someone who helps you
• Someone who gives good advice
• In my case, it's someone who can think of a rocking cheer routine!
She will help with almost anything!

Hi, I’m Isabel and I’m going to tell you about my hero and cheer coach. She coaches the Junior Peewee section on the Hunterdon Huskies cheer team. She isn’t just my coach. She coaches about twenty other girls. Even though she has only coached me for two seasons, that’s how long it took her to make an impression on me! Two short seasons. She’s not only my hero; she is the one that thinks up our awesome Cheerleading routines. The routines that she has thought of have gotten us great awards like 3rd place eastern region and 2nd out of the state of New Jersey!

Susie thinks up most of it at least. The only thing she needs is doing the tumble runs. Her advantage is the awesome stunt routines. Any stunt you haven’t done, ask her and she will walk you through it. She puts excitement into our routines and keeps us close. Since the cheerers have been on the team for so long we are like a family. Even though people come and go, the new people fit in just fine.
One thing you should know is she could not have done it alone. She always has the help of two other coaches. The coaches’ names are coach Rebecca and a new coach named coach Amy. If you asked, she would say “they have been a big help”. Even though coach Amy is new at coaching she is starting to get the hang of things with the Huskies. Coach Susie is great at showing coach Amy the ropes. No wonder coach Amy is following in coach Susie’s footsteps! So if coach Susie were not there for whatever reason, coach Amy would be there to take her place with coach Rebecca to help!
That is why coach Susie is my hero. She inspires me to try my hardest, achieve my best, and helps me do what I might not have achieved without her. She is kind, considerate and caring. She is always looking out for us and is a big part of our Huskies family.
