Steve Young is my hero because he is a great football player. He has won a Super Bowl and was named MVP. He also got named into the Hall of Fame in 2005. Steve Young is a hero to me because he never gave up on his goals. As a kid, he was never good at football. That didn't stop him from working and improving his skills. Even in college he was an eighth string quarterback. Although being an eighth string quarterback influenced him to work harder to became the player he always wanted to be. In time he did became a better player. He got drafted into the NFL to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Steve Young never gave up. He was always getting concussions, but he still got up to finish what he started. Not only is Steve Young a hero on the field, he is a hero off the field. He is always kind and caring to others.  In 1993 he founded an organization called "Forever Young". It helps support families with development, strength, and education of children. That is why Steve Young is a hero to me because he was an amazing football player, he never gave up, and he helps others in need.
