A hero is someone you look up to. Someone to guide you, to help look after you. They will respect your choices. It's someone that will have an impact on your life. That's why my dad is my hero.

My dad has been there ever since i was born. My mom left me and my brother when i was 9 and when he was just born. My dad had to step up and take the position as a dad and a mom. That was probably the hardest thing he's ever done and that's the thing that i thank him for the most. I know it was a hard time for him but he did it for his kids.

I will always look up to my dad. He's always spoiled me and gives me what i want when i ask for it. My dad always tells the truth even when he's in the wrong. Like me asking him why my mom left, he could have easily have made something up. Instead we had a long conversation about it and he told me everything.

My dad gives the best advice. He tells me what is gonna benefit me for my future and what not to worry about. Like for instance him telling me to make my school my first priority and that family should be just as important as school. He tells me not to get my head all into girls because I'm going to go through 200 before i meet the one to settle down with.

My dad isn't the person to punish you for your mistakes. He will either let you learn from them or he will talk to you and make you realize what you have done. One time I went spotlighting which is illegal and i got caught. Yeah, he was mad but all he did was talk to me and tell me that once i have something on my record my life is gonna be different for the rest of it.
