We got an assigment to write about our hero. I thought about it for quite a long time because I was trying to come up with a unique person. However, the more people I considered for this essay, the more I realised that my hero is not actually human!

The most common hero for the people around me is somebody from their family or a boyfriend or a best friend. Therefore, I decided to present a little different hero. My hero is a dog named Sara. She is not mine, but she does belong to my grandparents. Sara was a puppy when they got her about four years ago.
I can still remember how little she looked. She was as big as a slipper and she was very clumsy! I still start smiling everytime I think about it! :) Although she doesn't have pedigree because she is a mongrel, she is still very pretty. Her fur is mostly black but her paws are brown. Sara's eyes are hazel.
I chose her for my hero because I think that animals are more sincere and honest when it comes to their relationship with humans. When Sara looks at me with her eyes I always have the feeling that she can understand everything I am saying to her. Although some people think that you have to be crazy to talk to a dog, I have to disagree! You would probably change your mind if you met her!
This is my story about a hero of my choice! I know it may sound a little weird to talk about a dog as your hero. However, sometimes she is definetly the one who brightens my day!
