Tom Schulte

A hero should be helpful, cheerful, brave, willing, and loyal. A hero is also someone that makes a difference. A hero should be the person you look up to the most. My hero is all of these important things. My hero is a pilot, my pilot, also my Uncle, Tom Schulte.

My Uncle Tom is very helpful because he is a pilot that had to fly in the no-fly zone during the war with Iraq. He is also very helpful because he flies people from one place to another. My Uncle is a helpful guy.

My Uncle is also cheerful. He is ALWAYS smiling and always makes a joke out everything he can. He is very nice too. He is so funny and his jokes are GREAT!! He’s a really great uncle.

Uncle Tom is also a very brave pilot. He went out and left his own family to fight in a war in another country, in Iraq! You also have to be brave to fly an airplane with all of those people in it and you are incharge of all their lives. My uncle is so brave.

My uncle is very willing. He is willing to risk his life to save others. How does he do that? I would be so scared. I could never do that and leave my entire family and just hope to come home. When he is gone we don’t even no exactly where he is. It is very scary to think about too. Another way my Uncle Tom is willing is he is willing to leave all of his family to fly others back to theirs. He is willing to do anything including risk his life for someone else. My uncle is patient. Very patient. He circles the airport until he can land safely and get all the people in the plane safely to where they need to be. Uncle Tom is very patient towards his family members also. He is patient towards everyone he meets. My uncle is patient when someone needs him. My uncle is so very very patient with anyone and everyone. My uncle is intelligent too. He has to be smart to fly an airplane that big and complicated. My Uncle Tom is always smart when it comes to airplanes. How could you not be. I think flying something that ackward would be really, really, hard to do. My Uncle is the best uncle ever! He’ll do anything for anyone. He’s absolutely great! My Uncle Tom is awesome in every way!!!
