I would like to write about a very important person in my life, a hero. She is my mother called Silvina. She was born the 2nd of June, in 1961. She is very important to me because she is generous and helpful.
My hero is a pediatrician and she helps children to be fine. My hero lives in Belgrano, Capital Federal. I live with her at home, with my sister and my father. I want to be as her, I admire her. I may be as her by helping people.
She is important to me because she is generous, she always helps poor people, giving them clothes and food. My mom is helpful because she helps people at the hospital, although it’s her profession. She also helps me a lot. She is responsible because she always goes to work and she works a lot. She is patient, usually when my sister and me fight. She always has a good humour, usually, she is happy. She is also very important to me because she is my hero and I love her. When I don’t feel ok and I am sad, she talks to me and helps me. She makes a difference in my life. Moreover, life is easier having pediatricians because they help people not to die and to be fine.
I read a book at school called “Number The Stars”. There, the hero is a girl, Annmarie. She helped her best friend, Ellen to escape from the Nazis because she and her family were Jewish. As a consequence, Ellen and her family survived. My mother is a heroine because she also helps people to survive. They are connected, because Annmarie saved Ellen and her family’s life, and my mom saves people’s lives giving them medicines.
I hope that my mother keeps working as a doctor because I admire her a lot and the way she works. Maybe in the future, I’m going to be a pediatrician as she is, and a good person as she is because I want to be a hero, helping people.
