Ibn Sina

My hero is Ibn Sina. He was an extraordinary scientist. European and American people mention his name as Avicenna. He was born in Afsyanah, Bukhara. His father was a governor.

In 997, he succeeded in curing Sultan Nuh bin Mansur and he became the palace doctor. In the year of 001, he wrote his first book titled Compendium. He was the first Moslem person who learned about medicine.

He wrote another book Compendium and numerous other books, all of his books about medicine were references for all the doctors in the world. He passed away in 1037 in Hamadan.

We have to thank Ibn Sina because he gave us very big knowledge about medicine and we can use it if we get sick.
