The hero I have picked is named Will Smith. I chose him because, first of all, he is a non-violent actor. While most actors go through stages of smoking and drinking, he is still healthy and sticks to acting in non-violent movies, mostly intended for kids. He encourages kids to stay healthy and to ignore those who try to lure them into drugs and gang violence. He is devoted to his wife, with whom he has been for a long time, and to his children.

He is also a rap singer and, amazingly, his rap songs are appropriate for kids and they don't have bad words in them, unlike all the others. I know many parents who don't allow their children to listen to raps, except only one. That would be Will Smith's songs.

He also had to overcome many difficulties because he is African-American. He had to survive the prejudice that existed in Hollywood, and at the same time, pursue his dream: to become a famous actor with a good image. He struggled a lot and made his way into many people's hearts with kindness, and not with fake personality.

I look up to him and his bravery. I'm sure that's how he became very famous. He also became famous in his acting. I love the way he still keeps on following his dream and doesn't give up like many other actors, who rise to fame suddenly but are soon destroyed by a bad lifestyle. He actually makes watching action movies exciting and fun. He most probably doesn't think selfishly, but rather thinks about putting smiles on children's faces.

Will Smith inspires me to stick to my dream and not ever give up. He also inspires me to not use drugs no matter what and I have made that my goal. I have still kept on with that goal and will always look up to him. I will be healthy and successful through my life with the help of Will Smith. As his career went on, he accomplished many things and got many awards. His non-violence helped to achieve that.
