Suzanne

A hero can be anyone. It doesn't have to be someone in costume that flies to protect you. Suzanne was the only person that stood up for me. Just by talking about Taemin or Jonghyun or any other things we had interest in made me feel safe. I had to go if I had any trouble.

Middle school was full of popular kids that got along with everyone, well, expect for me. I was an outcast. I really hated talking to people. I was bullied so much I really wanted to stop going to school.

I was walking to computer class. I entered and chose my seat in the far back across from a girl who was wearing kitty ears and had her face painted. We sat down and started doing whatever we felt like. Suzanne was talking about a show called Deathnote. It was my favorite show. We both started talking about that and other anime or manga.

At lunch we would eat together and talk about new releases. When I got bullied Suzanne would be there for me. She was the only person that I was able to rely on. We had some of the same classes so we would do our homework right before lunch. I would help her with history. We both would draw in our free time, teaching each other new styles that we've learned.

My hero is an average day kid who loves to cosplay. My hero is my best friend Suzanne.
