Do you have someone that you feel is more than a role model.. but a hero! My hero is Tyra Lynne Banks. The reason i picked Tyra as my hero is because I feel that she talks for all women and talks to women all over the United States and helps them with their problems. She went from modeling to being this really big person everyone knows.
My hero, Tyra was born in Inglewood, Ca. Her mother was a fashion manager and her father was a computer consultant. Her parents divorced in 1980 when she was only 6 years old. I think that relates to me because my parents divorced when I was 6 years old too. Tyra went to school at John Burroughs Middle School. She graduated in 1991 from Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles. After High school she was accepted by colleges such as USC and UCLA.
Tyra first started her career as a model. She became huge in Paris, London, Tokyo, and the big apple New York. Tyra began modeling when she was in 11th grade and was over booked in her first week of runway modeling in Pairs. She then was not allowed to model because her her weight gain and couldn't fit into rail slim clothing. Because of her career ending as a model she started appearing on television.
Tyra started her television career with movies. One of her mostly known movies is the Disney movie EVE in which she was a Barbie doll who comes to life. After that she started appearing as a guest star on many different shows. After this she then got to do her own show called the Tyra Show. The Tyra Show is a talk show that talks about women and she gives them advice and helps them. She also talks about the latest fashion, and has famous people guest star.
In conclusion i think Tyra is a person i can look up to because she has done so much over the years. She is one of the most likely known person in the United States. She went from modeling to guest starring to having her own show.
