Tyra Banks

    My hero is Tyra Banks. She is an African American model, an actress, a hostess, and a media producer. She was the first-ever African American for the cover of Victoria's Secret.

I think she is a very capable woman. She didn't limit herself, but tried to do

   After graduation, she looked for a modeling job, but she was refused

many times. Later, she went to France, where she became one of the world's

famous supermodel in Europe. She was signed as a model of Victoria's

Secret. In 1997, she received the VH1 award for supermodel of the year.

After the last fashion show in Victoria's Secret, she quit from modeling. She moved into television, to be a hostess, judge , and executive producer of the CW television network show "America's Next Top Model". Also, she had her own talk show "The Tyra Banks Show," which aimed at younger women. Tyra also tried to develop herself in singing. In 2004, she recorded

her first single, "Shake Ya Body."
