Thomas Edison was first born in 11th February 1847, Birthplace is Milan, Ohio. He died in 18th October 1931 by just natural causes.

On December 25, 1871, Edison married with 16-year-old Mary Stillwell, She was an employee at one of Thomas Edison`s shops. They had 3 children, Marion Estelle Edison, born in 1873, died in 1965. Thomas Alva Edison, Jr, born in 1876 died in 1935. William Leslie Edison, born in 1878, and died in 1937. In 1884, Mary Stillwell died.

On February 24th 1886, Edison married again with 20 year old Mina Miller in Akron Ohio. She was daughter of a inventor Lewis Miller. They also had 3 kids. Madeline Edison, born in 1888, died in 1979. Charles Edison, born in 1890 died in 1969. Theodore Edison, born in 1898, died in 1992. Mina Miller outlived Thomas Edison, dying on August 24, 1947.

Thomas Edison is the greatest inventor I have ever seen. When he was born, there were no computers, radios and also there`s no TV! But, he made it. He created electricity power! If there were no Thomas Edison in the world, maybe we can`t enjoy these useful things.

Thomas Edison is a good model to me because Thomas Edison is risk-taker, because, he tried many experiments, and he is also thinker, because he thought through many problems when he did experiments. I can plan to be more like this person and I will try to be more like this person. First, I can`t do science well, so I will work hard in science first.

Thomas Edison had many children, because he married again. When Thomas Alva Edison was seven years old, family move to Port Huron. Thomas Alva Edison had very hard time. When he was in school in Huron, he had trouble with his hearing. I think Thomas Edison`s most important thing in his life was that he made electrical power, but he also made the telephone work. Thomas Edison is a great inventor in the world.
