Thomas Edison was a great inventor. His numerous inventions affect our everyday lives. Apart from the incandescent lightbulb, Edison also invented many other things.

Thomas Edison grew up in Port Huron, Michigan. Even as a young boy, Thomas was very inventive. He performed many chemical experiments, and made his own telegraph at age 12.

In conclusion, Thomas Edison's many inventions are important and affect our everyday lives. This amazing inventor patented 1,093 inventions in 60 years, including the Incandescent electric lightbulb, the phonograph, and the kinetiscope.
