Thomas Edison is a famous inventor. He is a hero to me. Thomas Edison was born in February 11, 1847. The state he was born in was Milan, Ohio. He died on October 18, 1931 in West Orange, New Jersey.

Thomas Edison invented very useful things. Thomas Edison invented the telegraph so people could send messages. The telegraph has to be connected by wires so messages can be sent through the wires. He invented something called the phonograph. Thomas Edison used the phonograph to make the first movie talking movie. He also invented a vote recorder, a stock quote printer, a power plant in New York and the battery.

Thomas Edison helped the world by making new inventions like the phonograph, telegraph, and the light bulb. The light bulb helped because at night you can turn the light bulb on and it’ll be bright. The phonographs helped by making the people know what the people in the movie were saying and it’s more fun.

Thomas Edison was good at inventing things. He was good at inventing things with electricity. It is interesting how he found electricity. Some of his other inventions helped the navy and militaries. Those are facts how good he was with his inventions.

Thomas Edison developed useful inventions, and helped the world. I respect him.
