He was a man with 1000 tries and an amazing success. He was fired from both of his jobs for being non-productive. He's Thomas Edison! I'm sure everyone has a hero or someone that inspires them. My hero is Thomas Edison. He inspired me in many ways. Here are some reasons he inspires me.

Thomas Edison was a nice little boy with a mom and dad. Thomas Edison was born in Milan, Ohio on February 11,1847. His grandfather, Samuel Edison, was in the War of 1812 as captain of the First Middlesex Regiment. Thomas Edison did not go to school. He was self taught by his mom at his house.

Some heroic characteristics of Thomas Edison is he did many amazing things. Thomas Edison was the maker of the light bulb and he tried 1000 times but failed in every one of those tries. The reason he is heroic is because even though it took 1000 tries he never gave up and kept trying. Since he kept trying Thomas Edison was the first person to make the light bulb. He's also heroic because he made inventions that benefit everyone.

Thomas Edison inspired me in many ways and most of those things were his inventing skills, even though he was self taught and got no school education. Thomas Edison was the person who inspired me to be an inventor and he also made me believe that if i never gave up and try my best i could make amazing things. He also made many things that people don't seem to really appreciate that much such as the motion picture camera, the phonograph, and as you know, the light bulb. Thomas Edison may have had 1000 tries making the light bulb but other things like the phonograph he never gave up on and he once again made an amazing invention.
