Terry Fox

There was a man who ran almost across CANADA. He had cancer in his leg the doctors cut more than half of his leg. Terry Fox was born July 28th, 1958. He has 2 brother's and 1 sister named FRED, DARRELL, JUDITH. His parents' names are:BETTY and ROLLY.

He started the Terry Fox Run in Newfoundland .When he ran half way, he would have a cup of water and 1 or 2 slices of an orange. Most of the time Terry had beans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He met his hero Bobby Orr. His cancer spread. He had a really serious disease called lung cancer. Terry had his friend Doug, his brother Darrell, and Bill on Terry's run.They brought Terry back to his hometown when they found out he had lung cancer. Then he died in his home town.

Terry inspired me by doing the Terry Fox Run and raising money. Terry Fox ran in NEWFOUNDLAND and he found out that Terry got lung cancer in Thunder Bay. The run was very challenging for Terry. But Terry never gave up. Terry was optimistic and respectful. Terry sometimes said THE PAIN WILL STOP WHEN I STOP. THE END!
