Terry Fox with Canadian Flag!

Terry Fox was born on July 28, 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He ran for cancer donations to help find an antidote for cancer. Terry lived with his Mother, Betty, his brothers, Fred and Darrell and his sister Judith. In his childhood he played games that lasted long, He also played hockey and with his toy soldiers.

His Mom, best friends, plus a man in a magazine influenced him to run Canada! Terry's obstacles was the cancer in his leg. He overcame his cancer by running. Terry raised money to help kids and adults with cancer.

Terry ran half way across Canada, But his goal was to run the entire way across Canada. 650 million dollars were raised in terry run across Canada, (For Terry's name.)

Terry had Courage and Honesty. Courage for his right leg which had cancer! Honesty because he was scared.

I choose my hero because he ran to raise money for people with cancer like my Opa. He also ran for other people who had cancer which is nice.
