Terry Fox

Terry Fox ran from cancer because he had cancer in his right leg. He noticed this because he started to have big pain in his right leg. So he went to the hospital and said that he had cancer. They cut off his right leg. When he got his leg cut off he had to go to a sick home with lots of people that were going to die. He said to his mom he did not want to go. His mom said that he had to go or he was going to die. He said ok. When he got home he said to his mom is there anything i can do to save all the people in there? His mom said NO are you out of you mind? Terry said no, I'm am going to run and you can't stop me. So he ran half way across Canada.

Terry Fox was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1958. He lived with his family when he started to run. When he ran, his best friend from elementary school to high school came with on his run to help him get water and fruit when he had done a mile.

Terry Fox lived with his mom and dad. He had two brothers and one sister. His brothers' names were Daryl and Fred. His sister's name was Judy. He had a best friend named Doug and they were best friends ever since they were in pre-school and they went up until high school until Terry died.
