Temple Grandin

by Hannah from San Diego

Temple Grandin serves as a professor of animal science at Colorado State University. She also helps to re-design animal handling facilities. Grandin was born with autism and believes this helps her to think or imagine like an animal. Grandin is a unique person who currently works and brings benefits to slaughter houses today. She was born August 29, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts. In the year 1950, at the age of 3, Grandin was diagnosed with autism. Grandin had trouble with speech and struggled throughout middle and high school these years were hard for her. A hero must possess independence and is a very conversant being. Grandin is actually a very independent because she's not a social person and likes to do things independently. Grandin possesses independence and conversancy therefore she is a hero.

Temple Grandin is a magnificent example for someone who's independent. Grandin was actually very successful when it came to school she is very motivated and amazed in science and the studying of animals. In this article it tables out for you the idea that Temple Grandin is actually a very strong advocate for people with autism and can set an example for those who don't know what to do and need some encouragement or motivation to get to where there trying to get. "...has designed numerous innovations at such facilities that help to reduce stress in the animals during their final minutes." Temple Grandin is such a strong intelligent being she strives to what she can't do and still doesn't give up she sets an example for people that have autism. Temple Grandin not being a fan with social skill has caused her to do most things on her own by being independent Grandin seemed to work better and become successful on her own and by the support of her mom. In the article it explains how Temple Grandin an autistic women who is strong in science and is an independent person when it comes to setting her goals."Dr. Grandin has become a prominent author and speaker on the subject of autism because "I have read enough to know that there are still many parents, and yes, professionals too, who believe that 'once autistic, always autistic.' "Temple Grandin has proved to professionals and parents that she can be independent and successful even if she has autism in this quote it quotes that parents even professionals believe "that 'once autistic, always autistic.'" Temple Grandin is very bright and smart even though some people just see her as a women with autism which in my opinion is wrong because she is just like one of us but very unique in her own way. Understanding someone with autism can be confusing but if you do then you would know that they are just like us and can go up to our level and achieve even more grander things.

Grandin is a very conversant person she can think for herself and is very out of the world with her amazing ideas Temple Grandin is intellectual because she can visualize things that she can create herself that has some benefit to someone, something or herself. In these CD's I will confer about why and how Temple Grandin is an intellectual person and what there is to offer or learn from her actions. "One of the most significant innovations that Grandin devised was a chute that led cattle through the slaughterhouse. Standard chutes were built in a straight line, and the cattle could usually see what lay ahead. Grandin knew that if a cow saw something unexpected ahead of them, they froze in their tracks. She designed a circular chute with high walls to remedy this." Grandin is described as a visual person she can create things in her mind that could benefit other things. In this quote the author shares how Grandin devised, which it explains was a chute that led the cows in a straight line for slaughtering Grandin was smart and put would herself in their place thinking how it feel if you could see ahead what was happening so she decided to design tall walls so that the horses wouldn't freak out she also made the design in a circle with a single filed line of cattle so that if they did freak out they wouldn't be able to reverse in the opposite direction. In this CD I was amazed of how no one else could solve this problem but she could I loved how Temple now is very successful and is still setting more goals for herself and is still carrying on one that she already complete. Temple has shown people what she's made of and that she is more of what they think of her or any other autistic person. "Dr. Grandin later developed her talents into a successful career as a livestock-handling equipment designer, one of very few in the world. She has now designed the facilities in which half the cattle are handled in the United States, consulting for firms such as Burger King, McDonald's, Swift, and others." Temple has put her talents in a carrier and is now successful today she has found many facilities in need with her help to handle the cattle industries around the United States. Grandin continues to put her knowledge out there and set examples she is known for many things and has complete and set many goals and still is. Temple Grandin is a very smart and intellectual advocate for children she can learn how to figure things out very quick and visually I think that she's a great role model and hero.

Temple Grandin is an inspiration to people and children who have autism or parent who are going through a rough time trying to raise one. Temple Grandin has served as inspiration to hundreds of thousands of people. "Autism is a developmental brain disorder, and its origins are the subject of tremendous scientific debate. Autism affects the areas of the brain that direct abstract thought, language, and social interaction, and Grandin displayed the classic symptoms of the condition in her earliest years--she spoke little, did not like to be held or touched, and was prone to dissolve into raging temper tantrums when provoked." Temple Grandin is inspiration to families and people with autistic children. Temple Grandin eloquently describes the challenges she has faced and offers dealing with autism and how it can cause you to run into many obstacles. This is very inspirational because it shows where Grandin first started off at and how she is where she is now. Temple is now prosperous in her own job Temple currently works as a professor in Colorado State University. "......in temporary assignments, was probably preferable to a standard job where relationships developed over time, and so in 1975, the year she earned her master's degree, she founded her own company, Grandin Livestock Handling Systems. She knew she wasn't good at interpersonal skills or social skills so she did what she did best which was studying and got her master's degree as an autistic person. Temple Grandin is a very great example of a person who fights until they achieve something Temple I think inspires autistic people to push themselves to get to where you need to be and accomplish something great. Temple Grandin has had many important events happen in the past she has become friends with many companies and businesses that participate in animal slaughtering and has made a huge difference in the way they handle slaughterhouses. Temple Grandin actions really magnify and shows that she is a very unique person and can think on her own.

Temple Grandin is an independent person in her work and is a very conversant person. Temple Grandin I believe is such a striver and a person that doesn't give up easily based on people's opinions. I believe that temple Grandin inspires those who are autistic to stand up and do what is not to be thought out of them. I think that Temple Grandin sets the example to not give up on something that's important to you and beneficial to others. Temple Grandin inspires me because she's such a strong brave person and doesn't depend on anyone to guide her in her success because she's already got a route. Temple Grandin is also an inspiration to kids who don't think they can do anything on their own and is afraid of letting their mind go in different directions creating something amazing. Temple is a very unique person she thought of something that we now used today and wouldn't even have thought of back then Temple Grandin is unique in her mind and thoughts she knows what it feels like to have anxiety and to feel in danger. Temple Grandin is now successful in her own job at Colorado State University and helps to re-design slaughter houses.
