This paper on Tim Howard because he is an inspiration to me because he pursued his dream even though he had Tourette's. Tim talks about how he didn't let Tourette's get in his way of playing professional soccer. He said it was just a little bump in the road and not a mountain in his way. He also talks about how he is proud to be a inspiration to kids that also have Tourette's to do want you want to and not let Tourette's stop you.( Tim Howard growing up with Tourette's).

The way Tim found out that he had Tourette's Syndrome was one day at his house he was just walking around and he just couldn't stop touching things in his house and he was wondering what was going on and then the same thing happened the next at at school. And then he went to that doctor and then he was told that he had Tourette's Syndrome. He said he used to get made fun of at school because he was twitching and making noises and kids would make fun of him because they thought it would be funny to make fun of him. He didn't start out as a goalie because he was an outside and he couldn't dribble or shoot he was only fast and so his coach moved him to goalie and he liked it and now he makes a living off being a goalie and now he thanks his coach for what he did to help him. But it was true what the doctor said about an ability to hyperfocus at least when it came to sports.
