Tite Kubo

My hero is Tite Kubo, his real name is Noriaka Kubo. Tite Kubo is his “pen” name. Noriaka was born in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan on June 26, 1977. Noriaka was a manga artist and writer in his high school years. He worked on his first manga, Zombie powder, in his high school years and entered it in a weekly Shonen Jump magazine for a contest. Noriaka sadly did not win the contest because of his lack of experience, but one of the judges saw something in Kubo’s work, something that they liked, talent. The judge that liked his work told Kubo that he should keep working on his skill and Kubo did what he was told, he worked on the manga. For this was only the beginning of his career.

Noriaka started and finished the manga, Zombie powder, but it was a really short series. He kept writing and drawing manga and soon he became famous for it. His most famous manga is Bleach, then it turned in to an anime and soon it became three movies. Bleach also won the Shogakukan Manga award in 2005. Then Bleach appears on Adult Swim on cartoon network. After this happened, his work was spread around the world, and he became known. For the people who read his manga, most of them wanted to be as talented as him because they loved his work so much. Then, after people heard how his career started, they believed they could draw and soon get good at it by practice. Others thought they could write their own stories like Kubo also did. Noriaka has inspired many that if they tried hard they could succeed.

This is why Tite Kubo is my hero. He has inspired me to keep trying at what I love to do now, draw and write my own books. Of course, Kubo didn’t say anything about him trying or anything, his work said everything he has done. Of course you can tell in his older drawings it needed work, but compare them to his newer drawings now; you can see a vast difference. Also, his work has a lot of detail; it shows mostly inspiration and life. Then again, Tite Kubo isn’t just my hero he could also be people’s hero around the world.

From a manga he worked in high school, then a contest, and some practice, he has become a good manga artist and writer and all this was accomplished by trying. He started small and soon he accomplished his goal.
