“He was popular across the entire Balkan area and further North, and locally he was considered a top act of the Macedonian music scene.” Tose was well known for him strong vocal performances and his trademark quote “Ve sekam site” which means I love you all. He was also named Elvis Presley of the Balkan’s. (Encyclopedia) Tose wasn’t only known for his singing. He was also known for his wonderful ability to help people with issues they might have. Proeski has gotten awards for not only his singing he got them for the charities he was doing such as, feeding the homeless and cleaning the roads, which Tose chose to do on his own. The most important thing is what you do when no one is looking. That’s where the true hero comes out, and someone shows their true colors. Tose Proeski was a great man. Through the things he did and all the people he loved he has been a hero through it all.

Proeski has inspired many people with his music but his life was the true meaning of heroic. He has inspired many people with his musical talents. He was born January 25, 1981, to Dominika and Nikola Proeski from Krusevo, Macedonia, his hometown. Since he was discovered at the age of 12, he has inspired many people with his music. Still to this day people pop in his CD’s every now and then and listen to them. At the age of 13, he was chosen to perform in the popular children’s song festival. From there he grew into great accomplishments and won many awards. Tose died on October 16, 2007 in a car accident in Croatia. Some say that he was meant to pass away on the day that he did. Some people found clues as of to show that he really was meant to die. Then, some say that his death brought down the whole Macedonian area and further north. Tose was a great man and in the eyes of a true fan he will always be missed like he has been for the last 3 years.

Tose was a hero for many reasons but the first is that he wrote many songs and lyrics that touched many people’s lives and hearts. Since the day that Tose was discovered he has been creating wonderful music. “His first performance was at the Children’s song festival Zlatno Slavejce in Skopje,” where he won over millions of people’s hearts from all over the world. (Encyclopedia) This is where Tose became famous, where he made many people realize a true man…a true hero. Since the day he first walked on the stage he has been an inspiration to everyone all over the world. Many people loved Tose in their own special ways. “Tose was a fine man. He taught many people how to treat others with respect and how to generate the true meaning of music.” (Stefan Kleps). Music was a great deal in the north. There were many artists. Lots of people loved their own style, but even the people that loved to jam out to some rock, or party it up with rap they still found time to listen to some love songs that were created by Tose and made into a true song from a true hero. Proeski’s ability to do so much, from getting up in the morning to go on tour without his family to falling asleep at night with a million things on his chest, he is still able to get up and sing and dance to make other people feel happy and joyful of this great life that they have been given.

Tose isn’t just a hero for this one reason, there are many more. He has to suffer not being around his family as much. Some people say that when you’re away from someone for a long time you tend to drift away from them: It was different for him. “Tose used to say to me that all he ever wanted was to be with his family and that all he ever wished for at night on the shooting starts was so that he can be with his family forever” (Dominka Proeski). Proeski had been in the music business for a long time, but the money wasn’t what he wanted; he wanted to share his fame and glory with his family, the people that loved him the most. Even though he felt this depression inside him, he still got up on stage and was the happy and energetic man we all knew and loved. “We are mourning because we lost our best and most talented young man whose voice made Macadamia well-known. We have lost him at a time when we needed more people to like Tose and made his grace” (Stefan Suid) not only his family misses him but his fans too. Many people are still drenched over this loss. Tose IS a hero. He inspired many people with the lyrics in his music the way he captured words and the way he projected it all. He will forever be missed.

Proeski has been working on songs and plays since he was a young boy. All of his music helped people in their own way. He once wrote a song called “Selavi” (Life) It’s about the journey through life and how there might be obstacles in the way, but you can always get through them with a helping hand from hope and faith. “Life is an endless story about the truth about your past, present and future” (Tose Proeski). “Life” was one of Proeski’s best songs he wrote it in his lowest time in life. He was able to sing something so beautiful in such an amazing way. He truly made people feel something that they haven’t felt in a long time. He was also one of the lucky people that got the chance to discover love at first sight. “Tose was in love with a wonderful woman, he would have given up anything for her. Without a doubt” (www.toseproeski.info) Tose was a great inspiration.
