Theodore Roosevelt is known for his courteous acts of kindness towards others, a Nobel Peace prize, and the Great White Fleet. Theodore Roosevelt was born in 1858 in New York. He proposed to his wife Alice 3 times before she accepted.

Do you know who the 26th president was? Well, Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president. Theodore Roosevelt was known for his courteous acts of kindness towards others. He made a treaty with Panama and Colombia for the Panama Canal. Japan asked Theodore to negotiate a treaty between Japan and Russia.

Imagine a group of great white sharks coming to the beach attacking! That is kind of like the Great White Fleet, but ships instead of sharks. Theodore Roosevelt was an "Assistant Secretary under President William McKinley"(Newsmax 2). The Great White Fleet was a part of the Navy.

Theodore Roosevelt is a hero because he protected people and put his life at stake when he was in the Navy. He was smart because he was a president. He was kind towards others because he helped the Rough Riders.
