Tupac Shakur

by Hector from Boise

"I'm not saying' I'm gonna rule the world, or I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world."

Tupac Shakur was a figure to all black males. He was just a black male with a lot of wisdom that the white society couldn’t understand. Like the quote above, all he was trying to do was to show the mistakes that society was making so that things could change for the better.

People think that you have to be big from the beginning to be someone in the future, but that’s not true. Tupac came from the ghetto with a crack cocaine addicted mom, and still made it big.

Tupac is my hero because I admire the way he grew up and became a big idol to a lot of people, and the way he defended his race and ideas with his music, quotes, and speeches.

My favorite 2pac song is called changes. I like it because of the message he is trying to share with people. 2pac is trying to tell people that changes need to happen so that people can have a better life, but they are only going to happen if people unite and try to make things change.

Tupac Shakur was like a book with a lot of blank pages left, but they weren’t able to get finished. He was shot at the age of 25 on September 13 in 1996.
