My hero is Tim Tebow because he is a great man of God. He works hard and never gives up. The love he has for others is amazing and he constantly tells people about Christ. Perseverance, selflessness, and determination are some of the great qualities of the Legendary, Tim Tebow.

First great quality, PERSEVERANCE. Tim Tebow works hard at everything he does. One way that this is illustrated is by how he has won many trophies. As a sophomore, he won the Heisman (which is an award for the best player in college football), Maxwell Award, Quarterback of the Year award, and many others. To win these trophies, you have to work extremely hard. On top of that he is really tough. In high school he won a big game while still playing with a broken leg. To win the game he ran a 25 yard touchdown on a leg he should not even have played on! If that is not tough, I do not know what is. Finally and most important, he is one of those great people who go to hospitals and give kids hope. A lot of times those children will get better, but sometimes you can not save them. Tim Tebow will see some of them die and that must break his heart. He has to get over that and help others as well. That takes perseverance. All of this shows that Tim Tebow has perseverance and strength and is a great man.

Third Great Quality: DETERMINATION Tim Tebow is a man that never gives up. Every time someone tries to bring him down, he just gets back up and starts to prove that person wrong. Also he never stops trying and preparing for the NFL. Even when people criticize his throwing skills, footwork or something else, he keeps on going. Next, his work ethic is amazing. At Florida University as a freshmen the team was playing a game of tug-of-war. Both Offense and Defense picked the two strongest guys and Tim Tebow was one of the ones picked! A freshman quarterback picked to play tug- of- war with people 2 times his size! To people to see how strong he was shows his amazing work ethic and determination. Finally Tim Tebow is great at encouraging his teammates to do the best of their ability. You have probably heard about the playoff game when the Broncos beat the Steelers in overtime. One of Tim Tebow's wide receivers Demarious Thomas dropped an easy pass in the beginning of the game. Tim encouraged him and he ended up catching the game winning touchdown. That is pretty cool.
