My Hero : Tia Torres

My hero, Tia Torres, is a brave hearted woman who rescues all kinds of dogs and helps people who need it most. By researching Tia Torres, I know that she is full of bravery, selflessness, and dedication, and she shows these characteristics in her everyday work and passion.

Tia Torres clearly shows bravery day in what she does. By doing what is right in tough situations, she is brave. When she walks into danger to do what is right, she is also clearly being brave. Lastly, she handles hard and scary situations wisely when she rescues animals in dangerous situations.  For example, when she rescued dogs that survived Hurricane Katrina, she handled the situations wisely. By doing these things she thoroughly portrays bravery.

Selflessness is also one of the characteristics that Tia demonstrates. Sometimes she sacrifices her safety when she goes into dangerous places to save abused and abandoned animals. When Tia devotes her days to helping people and animals, she sacrifices her time to doing what is good and right. She also has sacrificed her reputation by doing what most people would not do by building the Villalobos Rescue center, rescuing unwanted dogs, and giving her employees a second chance.

Finally, when Tia does her daily work, she is dedicated. When she provides for dogs, even when times are hard and they become a burden, she still follows through and continues to do what is right. By doing her every day job in general, she is dedicated because she simply does what is right. When Tia uses her money to help people and dogs she is dedicated. She uses her resources to put others before herself.

Tia Torres is clearly a great hero in many ways. By portraying bravery, selflessness, and dedication in her everyday life and work, it is easy to see that Tia Maria Torres is a true hero inside and out. :)
