Trudy Wissel

My hero is Trudy Wissel because she taught me how to ride. Trudy is the owner and trainer of End Of Hunt Equestrian Center. Trudy treats her horses and people with respect. She has been a professional horse back rider and a very well known trainer and has trained with Olympic riders and coaches. I chose her to be my hero because to me she is a role model and inspires me to try my best in riding horses.

There are many reasons that make Trudy my hero. One reason is that she treats all of her animals, friends, family, workers and riders at her barn with respect. She has inspired me to do my best in life and go on as a rider and trainer. She is a great teacher to kids and I am still learning more and more about how to become a better rider. She is a great teacher to her horses too because she is very patient with them and knows how to treat them well. Trudy has taught hundreds of kids and adults to ride and also has showed them the horsemanship of a rider too. Trudy is also a very talented horse back rider. She has trained many dressage, hunter, equitation and jumper horses that have been know throughout the country. She has trained with Olympic teams and trainers from Canada, Hector Carmona, coach of the United States Equestrian Dressage Team, and Major Dezso Szilagyi. She has sponsored and directed clinics with Joe Vanoria, George Morris, and Victor Hugo Vidal. All of these reasons and many more are why Trudy Wissel is a role model to me.

Trudy has made a huge contribute to the society. At her barn End Of Hunt Equestrian Center, she runs a summer program. There are horsemanship programs that are taught at her barn in the summer. They are for children interested in learning how to ride and also for experienced riders looking to improve. She also lets the Suffield Recreational Program take lessons at her barn and the kids get to learn how to ride, care for horses, and horsemanship. The reason why Trudy can make these contributions to the society is because of her well trained horses and ponies and also because of her amazing staff.

Overall, Trudy Wissel is the best trainer and rider I have ever met. Trudy owns an amazing facility called End Of Hunt Equestrian Center. She has a great respect for people and animals. Her horses and ponies are the best trained in Connecticut. She is also very dedicated to her work and knows how to run a barn. Trudy Wissel is the greatest hero of all time.
