Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King

I think that Mother Theresa ws a heroine because she was a strong person who helped other people who are in need. Her strength was shown by her actions, ideas and her beliefs. She spent her whole life serving God by doing good deeds such as feeding the poor. She also made homes and had homes available for the dying, had various medical areas, an orphanage and a shelter for the homeless. She even went to different parts of the world, listening to what God was telling her to do. Even though she died, her thoughts, beliefs and memories go on. I believe that because her thoughts go on she has succeeded in life and has done the most for the world anyone could do in a life time.

I think that Martin Luther King is a hero because he stood up for what he believed in. He believed that all humans should be treated equally, even if they had different color skin. He never stopped believing and he never stopped his demonstrations and marches for civil rights. Regardless of what people thought of him, or what they said, he did not stop helping others. After he died his ideas and beliefs kept going, partly because of him, but mostly because of the citizens who believed in him. Though they are partly his ideas, they are other people's to because they have been reconstructed over time. Even though he is not the reason that African Americans are free, he made a huge contribution to that idea. Besides, freedom without equality is like no freedom at all.

Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa are alike because they both risked themselves for other people. They stood up for what they believed in. I think that they both succeeded in life. I don’t think that any one except a hero would do a thing like that. They also know that it is wrong to be racist or think other people are strange because they are different.

I think that they are different from each other because they stood for different things. Also, Martin Luther King was a victim of what he was trying to stop. Though they lived in different parts of the world they made the same decisions that changed peoples lives in a good way.
